RFB - Probation Department Vehicles

Notice is hereby given that the Probation Department of Siskiyou County, California is seeking bids for four (4) New Ford Explorer Interceptors by October 13th, 2022, at 4PM.

Any bid received after the time and date listed above will not be accepted.

1. Bid Opening Date: September 14th, 2022, at 9AM at 1312 Fairlane Rd. Yreka, CA 96097
2. Q&A period: October 6th to October 12th, 2022
3. Project Description: Siskiyou County Probation is requesting bids for the purchase of four (4) new Ford Explorer Interceptors.
4. General Information: Four (4) new Ford Explorer Interceptor equipped with, or exceeding, the following specifications:

• 4DR AWD POLICE
• Automatic Transmission
• Exterior color: 1 White, 1 Black, 2 Carbonized Grey Metallic
• Three (3) sets of ignition keys
• List, in writing, of factory warranty
• Must meet California emissions

Bidder will assume that units comply with all safety features and complies with all regulations as required by State and Federal agencies. Bidder will list any non-compliances or variations from the conditions and specifications of this bid. All vehicles bid are subject to inspection before final award.

All vehicles purchased by the County are to be delivered to the County Yard located at 279 Sharps Rd., Yreka, CA 96097. All Bidders will declare in writing availability and maximum delivery date. Failure to do so could result in removal from bidder’s list. Failure to do so could result in removal from bidder’s list. Failure to meet performance statement could result in cancellation of order therefore relieving County of any responsibility.
