Black Bridge Repair Update - Estimated Completion by the End of Next Month
The Siskiyou County Public Works Department is actively working to restore Black Bridge (Scott River Bridge/Griffin Bridge) on Eller Lane in Scott Valley. Following inspections conducted by two State Bridge Fracture Critical Teams, crews have been working on the necessary repairs to address structural concerns.
Public Works is making significant progress, and the estimated time of completion is the end of next month. The department appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as crews work diligently to ensure the bridge is safe for public use.

Black Bridge remains closed between Island Road and Eastside Road until repairs are finalized. Updates will continue to be provided as work progresses.
